Built on a strip of land that plunges into the sea, o Mytikas (a “nose”, hence the name) is known as the legendary emerald Ionian Sea. The modern harbor area gives easy access to those who own a boat for short cruises in the picturesque Kalamos, Kastos, Nidri and Agistri or Lefkada, Ithaca and Kefalonia. Other possible routes are for Paleros, Astakos, Meganisi, Mesologi and Naupaktos or Vonitsa and Scorpio.
Mytikas is surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes and the particular morphology of the largest prefecture of Greece: Aitoloakarnania.
